The SBBG natural history collections house the region's largest scientific collection of preserved Central Coast and California Channel Islands vascular plants, bryophytes, lichens, and macrofungi. Across these collections, the Garden curates approximately 214,000 specimens. Vascular plant specimen data are served on this portal (https://cch2.org/).
