Almost all collections are made on the middle and the lower section.; Moonridge 7.5 quad.Started near 34.20110N, 116.77234W where the road (Forest Service Road 2N93) crosses the bottom of the upper meadow. The lower portion of the middle meadow near 34.19801N, 116.77819W, and my access to a GPS was limit. So the lower portion was close to 34.19635N, 116.78084W (short distance down creek).

Gentle sloping meadows. Associated species include: Pinus jeffreyi, P. contorta murrayana, Abies concolor, Juniperus occidentalis australis, Salix lasiolepis, S. lutea, Veratrum californicum, Drymocallis lactea, Horkelia rydbergii, Potentilla anserina, P. gracilis, Taraxacum officinale, T. californicum, Agoseris heterophylla, Mentha canadensis, Senecio scorzonella, Arnica chamissonis, Symphyotrichum spathulatum, Achillea millefolium, Sidalcea malvaeflora dolosa, Ribes cereum, Sphenosciadium capitellatum, Stachys albens, Festuca rubra, Poa pratensis, Phleum pratense, Hordeum brachyantherum californicum, Deschampsia elongata, Muhlenbergia richardsonis, M. filiformis, Agrostis exarata, Urtica dioica holosericea, Veronica americana, Juncus balticus ater, J. macrandrus, J. bufonius, J. orthophyllus, Eleocharis acicularis occidentalis, E. bella, Plagiobothrys hispidulus, and Limosella acaulis. Wet banks of spring. Blue flowers.
