Oak-chaparral intersperse habitat. Areas with thin chaparral soil, and others with heavy soil that support oak. Slope aspect came in to play, along with serpentine soil too. Growing along trail and grassy areas under oaks.
Pinus sabiniana, Quercus douglasii, Q. argifolia, Q. berberifolia, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Ceanothus cuneatus, C. oliganthus sorediatus, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Pickeringia montana, Salvia mellifera, Dendromecon rigida, and Ericameria arborescens.
