Pinus coulteri, P. jeffreyi, Arctostaphylos pungens, A. pringlei, Quercus chrysolepis, Q. wislizeni, Q. kelloggii, etc.
Annual; corolla with dark, rich lavender limb, yellow lower throat, blue upper throat, yellow and blue tube; calyx midrib green with purple streaks.
