A narrow rocky canyon/gulch with Pinus monophylla, Juniperus, Yucca brevifolia, Yucca schidigera, Acacia greggii, Salazaria mexicana, Krameria erecta, Coleogyne ramosissima, Viguiera parishii, Larrea tridentata, Opuntia chlorotica, Encelia farinosa, Bebbia juncea and a diversity of summer annuals.
Occasional in gravely/rocky canyon.
