Locality:
United States, California, Tulare, 5 miles E of Bearpaw Meadow Camp along the High Sierra Trail.
Habitat:
growing in dry, light brown soil; populations of several hundred in open areas along the trail.
Description:
Corolla limb pink (sometimes white) with a yellow band at the base, a deep purple triangle between these areas, going into the yellow.
