Locality: United States, California, San Diego, Cuyamaca Mountains east of Cuyamaca Resevoir alng Sunrise Highway (S-1), 0.5 southeast of junction with Hwy 79. About 50 feet north of the road near Pedro Fages trail marker.

Habitat: Vernally moist ‘’pebble plains’’ of gabbro and quartz cobbles.
Associated Species: Erigonum wrightii var. membranaceum, Viola douglasii, Navarretia tangetina and Manuartia pusilla
Description: Perennial herb, petals reddish purple, fruit ascending.
