In gravelly granitic outash; burned area with much Bromus tectorum; also Ephedra viridis, Oryzopsis hymenoides, Artemisia ludoviciana, Stipa speciosa, Melica imperfecta, Sphaeralcea ambigua spp. a., Prunus faciculata, Datura metaloides, Hymenoclea salsola car. s., Haplopappus lineaifolius ssp. interior, Eriognum fasciculatum ssp. polifolium, Lotus rigidus, Thamnosma montana.
