Locality: United States, California, Los Angeles, Southern base of the San Gabriel Mountains in Evey Canyon, a side drainage of San Antonio Canyon, just north of San Antonio Dam and Potato Mountain.
Elevation: 700 meters (2296ft)
Habitat: Canyon bottom with woodland of Quercus agrifolia, Alnus rhombifolia, and Platanus racemosa, with chaparral of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Ceanothus crassifolius, etc. on surrounding slopes.
Description: Annual, flowers yellow, style beak relatively short, leaves glaucous.
