Thin soil of south-facing steep slope with greenstone/chert outcropings.
Small annual; flower color rose-pink. Only the most basal leaves appear to separate this taxa morphologically from E. luteolum. Flower color for both ranges from white to rose-pink to yellow. Flowering time is earlier however. Number of plants 50-100.
