Mixed oak woodland and chaparral. Willow, California rose, bunch grass, dominants.
Growing in stream. LVS: 5-leaflets, 1/4in. round, alternate, odd pinnate, compound with 5-leaflets, FLWR: 4-petaled white flower with yellow center, inferior ovaries. SEED: thin pods, 3/4' long, on pedicels from main stem.
