Little roadside vegetation except scattered patches of Chamaesyce and B. tournefortii. Beyond road shoulder, desert shrub dominated by A. dumosa and L. tridentata.
Plant multi-branched, around 18 inches tall, with coarsely-haired basal leaf rosette about 1 foot in diameter; flowers very pale yellow.
