Narrow NW/SE running canyon of sandstone w/embedded cobble. Cut bank up to 10' along west side of dirt road running downhill through canyon. Shallow mulch of decayed leaf litter under trees and shrubs on NE-facing slope.
Mixed Chaparral, w/ Scrub Oak, Toyon, Lemonade Berry and Chamise. Mature Eucalyptus trees at edges.
Herbaceous, 20in. high, 16in. diam., stems erect. Leaves, 1/2-1 3/4in., hairy, gray-green, undersides greenish-white. Flowers in clusters, cream, some closed with yellow at tips of petals. Seed head petals: outer-cream, inner-light brown. Perennial.
