Narrow NW/SE running canyon of sandstone w/embedded cobble. Cut bank up to 10' along west side of dirt road running downhill through canyon. Shallow mulch of decayed leaf litter under trees and shrubs on northeast-facing slope.
Mixed Chaparral, w/ Scrub Oak, Toyon, Lemonade Berry, and Chamise. Mature Eucalyptus trees at edges.
Perennial, sprawling, twiggy shrub, abt. 2in. h. Narrow, dusty olive green leaves, abt 1in. long, finely serrated margins. Flower clusters at branch tips. Buds abt 1/2in. long, light green, white at tips, with deep golden yellow pistils emerging.
