Growing solitary among boulders in shady location.
Nearby large contiguous stand of big cone Douglas fir , Mimulus gutatus, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Trifolium sp.
Very short stature, dark green leaves upper surface glabrous, golden brown sporangium, stems reddish. Only one individual growing, therefore only collected a few fronds/petioles. Gps postition and elevation estimated.
