United States, California, Modoc, North of Hwy 299, NE of Stough Reservoir Campground, 1.3 miles along Forest Road 43N57 from its intersection with Forest Road 43N07, 130 yards SE from road. Clearing surrounded by Juniperus. Warner Mountains. Modoc National Forest.
Tepals yellow, some white with red-purple veins, wilted. Leaves linear, crowded near base, alternate. Stems white underground, red-pink below, green-purple mottled above. Approximately 50-60 bulblets per bulb. Most plants in fruit. Non-flowering plants with narrowly elliptic to lanceolate leaves.
