Steep, exposed east-facing slope below eastern rim of canyon on east side of Pt. Loma. Steep gullied land with pockets of coarse to fine loamy sand; evidence of frequent top soil movement and debris flow. Sparse cover of Eriogonum fasciculatum, Ferocactus viridescens, Opuntia, Dudleya edulis, Chaenactis glabriuscula, Muhlenbergia microsperma, Chorizanthe fimbriata var. fimbriata, Lupinus truncatus, Mesembryanthemum crystallinum, and scattered Calandrinia maritima.
