Exposed, eroded sandstone (Linda Vista formation) with scattered patches of Isocoma menziesii, Distichlis, Bromus hordeaceus, and Mesembryanthemum nodiflorum.
Sandy depression in sandstone inlet near cliffs.
Many rosettes clustered together anlong sandy knoll. In flower, perianth color ranging from yellow to orange-red. Plants colonial.
