Rocky substrate, Along tail nar creekbed. Level, shady at ca. 1815 hours. Open Platanus racemosa, Quercus agrifolia/ closed mixed scrub/ (Baccharis salicifolia, Baccharis sarothroides, Malosma laurina, Artemisia californica)/ Closed mixed grasses (Avena barbata, Bromus madretensis)
Annual grass. Inflorescence spikelets look like Christmas trees, several shades of green.
