Middle of trail through Avena grassland. Soil dried and cracked. Slope horizontal. Avena fatua ; Bromus hordeacus ; Aster rosetts.
Herb. Branches 20-40 degrees from ground. Corolla white. Nutlets Glochidiate. Mature sepals sometimes zygomorhic. Plants nearest random points on transect tape were collected.
