United States, California, Fresno, About 9450' in glade just w. of steep w. facing 300' slope of rather narrow ridge which projects nw. across the broad "bench" at top of steep 1600' sw. wall of Bear Creek Ridge reachers 11,000' 1mile se. (sw. quarter of Mountain Abbot Quad.). A rill (dry this date) comes down broad "canyon" extending up se. parallel to the ridge.
Glade. Subalp. For. above; on 300 ft. slope Pinus monticola, Castanopsis & Arctostaphylos nevadensis. Red firs in the glade. A rill (dry this date) comes down broad "canyon" extending up se. parallel to ridge
Subalp. For. Above; on the 300' slope Pinus monticola, Castanopsis & Arctostaphylos nevadensis. Red Firs in the glade. I believe--others seen another day same elevation 3/4 w. on nw. exposure.
