Edge of rd. Yellow Pine Forest:- Pinus ponderosa and Pseudotsuga nearly equal at this point. Few Libocedrus, much Quercus chrysolepis, some Alnus rhombifolia.
2000-2500' canyon facing out w. with extensive granite cliffs. can rises 1500' in next 1ΒΌ m.
