Growing up through shrub in garden in Santa Cruz
Tallest ever seen, 72cm above ground, 6cm under ground; trunk portion 16cm; scapes to 50cm, petioles to 28cm.
Took three weeks to dry. While in press grew several white bulblets along above-ground (nut underground) part of stem--yet more ways this remarkable weed has of staying alive and multiplying
