United States, California, Fresno, Located on Table Top Mountain. Plant is scattered on slopes, mainly the south, west and east slopes in fairly well developed soil.
Plant is exceedingly pubescent-wooly. Corolla is gray with a red-purple. Associated species are Rhus diversiloba, Quercus douglasiia and Penstemon brewiflorus.
