Major vegetation types are coastal sage scrub (dom. by Opuntia littoralis) and non-native annual grassland.
Scarce shrub 2m tall, flowers bright yellow. Two plants on fill slope below San Dimas Ave. These plants evidently growing spontaneously (no sign of planting or cultivation) but the species not seen in adjacent undisturbed habitats.
