Pinus jeffreyi / P. contorta woodland slope, lightly burnt 10 y.a. Thick layer of P. jeffreyi needles covering loose decomposed granite soil. Sparse understory dominated by Arctostaphylos patula. Herb layer dominated by Claytonia perfoliata, Gayophytum, Linanthus ciliatus.
Locally abundant. Mostly restricted to burn areas.
