United States, California, Fresno, Main (1st) Dinkey Lake, 9230' and ca. 0.25 mile in long axis, northern most lake on headwaters of Dinkey Creek. (n.e. quarter of Huntington L. quad.). Lake lies ca. 1 mile N of 10400' Three Sisters Ridge in shallow open basin with much encroaching meadow.

Whole area heavily glaciated, mostly granite. Lodgepole forest with extensive fringe of dwarf lodgepoles around wide marginal meadow on s. and e. Few Red Firs slope to n., few Tsugas slope to south.
