Annual, scattered; locally common, but few plants in flower yet. Leaves in rosettes, deeply and finely divided, twice pinnatifid; bracts also leafy and divided but with fewer lobes; Stems and calyces apparently glabrous (some pedicels slightly glandular). Calyx ca 3 mm long; corolla ca 9-11 mm long; limb light bluish-lavender; throat same color but paler; lower throat golden-yellow, a band apparently formed by the coalescing of 5 spots; upper tube ± burgundy-purple; lower tube pale; anthers surpassing throat by ca 2 mm; pollen blue.
