15 m erect tree. Apparently spontaneous, and part of a grove of variable trees along the wash -- perhaps escapees from Citrus Expt. Sta. walnut breeding program decades ago. Nuts smooth and much like hindsii, but leaflets sometimes "doubled" suggesting hybridity. Lat/Long as stated is shown as ±1000m. Fruit separate.
