Riparian strip with scattered willows and "mesic chaparral" species; Epipactis gigantea and Pycnanthemum californicum locally abundant along stream; adjacent slopes and flats largely supporting chaparral elements; a few arborescent Quercus chrysolepis localized on mesic lower slopes. Occasional along riparian thicket.
