Chaparral on ENE slope, with Ceanothus spp. malosma laurina, Keckiella cordifolia, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Mimulus aurantiacus pubescens, Achillea millefolium, Clematis lasiantha, Chlorogalum pomeridianum, Silene laciniata major, etc.
Locally common shrubs 15-28 dm tall, growing with C. leucodermis (No. 7349) and hybrid progeny (Nos. 7347, 7348). Leaves medium green; developing fruits with crests and only slightly viscid [most fruits unfortunately dehiscing in plant dryer].
