Growing at the edge of a one-acre Opuntia littoralis site on the southern slope of Black Mountain, Rancho Penasquitos
Large mature prickly-pair, 5 feet tall, approximately 25 pads. Watched for 10 years; flowers never open, just begin to peak out of the fruiting body.
