This HERB was collected from a CHAPARRAL OR BRUSHLAND in the general vicinity of a ROAD CUT on a SOUTHEAST exposure as a member of the HERB LAYER in a FLOWERING state. The population was located on the MIDDLE THIRD of a ridge system that had a 60 percent slope, a SMOOTH vertical slope shape and a SMOOTH horizontal slope shape. It was growing on soil having a SHOT texture composed mainly of SERPENTINE rock with a LAVA AND GLASS FLOW origin.
