This HERB was collected from a CHAPARRAL OR BRUSHLAND in the general vicinity of a DISTURBED AREAS on a WEST exposure as a member of the HERB LAYER in a FLOWERING state. The population was located on the TOP of a ridge system that had a 5 percent slope, a SMOOTH vertical slope shape and a SMOOTH horizontal slope shape. It was growing on soil having a VERY COBBLY texture composed mainly of SERPENTINE rock with a RESIDUAL origin.
