South-trending ridgetop. Open ponderosa pine dominated mixed conifer forest (mostly ponderosa pine, black oak; with young sugar pine, Douglas-fir, tanoak, canyon live oak); thick pine needle duff. Flowers yellow, pedicels yellow-pink; flowering stems and bases of pedicels buried.
Filed as intermediate between O. fasciculata and O. uniflora.
