Habitat:
Limestone cliff in montane hardwood-conifer forest; north aspect, open overstory; plants growing in thick duff, moss, and soil among rock. Pseudotsuga menziesii, Quercus chrysolepis, Pinus ponderosa, Pinus attenuata, Aesculus californica, Philadelphus lewisii, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Polypodium calirhiza, Adiantum shastense, Sedum spathulfolium, and unknown moss.
Description:
Erect perennial forb (bulb), 6-10 in. tall; anthers yellow, style white and declined, flowers laterally oriented at anthesis.
