Disturbed area (west side of Dungeness mansion); fenced-in lawn area. Associates: Bidens alba, Carex muhlenbergii, Nothoscordum bivalve, Silene antirrhina, and Sonchus oleraceus. Plants extensively browsed. Flowers bright red. Occasional (locally common). Common name: Tropical sage.
