Deep side-drainage north side of creek. Steep southwest-facing, almost bare, shaley slope. Open in blue oak/gray pine woodland. Flowers pale yellow-white with dark maroon mid-vein areas; upper 2 filaments exserted, long, wide, dark maroon, fused, much larger than the open anthers.
