Partial shade opening in mixed conifer forest (Ponderosa pine, Douglas-fir, incense cedar, tan oak). Openings filling in with Arctostaphylos patula, Ceanothus integerrimus, Polygala cornuta, Ceanothus lemmonii. Corolla lobes lavender, tube magenta, lower throat with two bright yellow raised ridges; plants very sticky.
