Open alluvial fan surrounded by many small secondary slot canyons and muddy hills. Alluvial fans dominated by Psorothamnus, Dicoria canescens, Abronia villosa, Psathyrotes ramosissima, and Cryptantha angustifolium. Slot canyons dominated by Xylorhiza cognata, Pleurocoronis pluriseta, Camissonia cardiophylla, and Nicotiana obtusifolia on canyon walls.
