Grazed alkaline meadow, adjacent to east side of the riparian woodland along Temescal Creek, with Frankenia, Juncus balticus, Spergularia, Heliotropium, and Anemopsis.
Flowering
Solitary short shrubby tree (this specimen), and two nearby rows of trees, which all seem to be the same thing. Probably recovering rootstock from old J. regia plantings; clusters of fine hairs in leaf axils of abaxial leaf surface.
