Habitat:
Coarse rocky alluvium of cobbles, gravel and sand; wash scrub with Senegalia, Hyptis emoryi, Parkinsonia florida, Encelia farinosa, Lycium andersonii, Peucephyllum, Ambrosia salsola, A. dumosa, etc.
Reproductive Condition:
Flowering & Fruiting
Notes:
Common 1-1.5 m shrubs at wash edge. Fls. light blue-lavender, with narrow tube & throat. Frt. oblong, red when ripe, not very sweet.
