Wide sandy wash, active and regularly scoured by floods; open wash scrub with Psorothamnus spinosus, Chilopsis, Ambrosia salsola, Brickellia incana, Petalonyx thurberi, Hyptis e., Senegalia g., etc.
Flowering & Fruiting
Fairly common 1-1.5 m shrubs, this clump c. 1.5 m broad. Fls. yellow, but most plants past flower and just in fruit, only this clump still heavily in flower. Foliage pine-scented.
