Rounded ridgetop with scattered pebbles & dark brown, fine-grained soil; Station Fire burn of 2009, all Pinus coulteri were fire-killed, some Pseudotsuga macrocarpa resprouting on all parts of trees; chaparral & Coulter pine forest, dominants incl. Arctostaphylos glan. (rsprt.), Eriodictyon parr., Ceanothus leuc. (rsprt.), & Bromus car., also w/ Saltugilia spl., Allophyllum glu., Leptosiphon bre., Penstemon cen., Phacelia cic., Viola pin., Phacelia dav., Dichelostemma cap., Boechera spar., etc. Massive pine-planting here recently.
