Yellow pine forest and chaparral, w/ Artemisia dracunculus, Ceanothus leucodermis, Bromus carinatus, B. tectorum, Leptosiphon breviculus, Cryptantha intermedia, Phacelia curvipes, Camissoniopsis hirtella, Boechera sparsiflora, Poa secunda, Saltugilia splendens.

Uncommon; petals purple with pale lavender bases.
