Large wash on gentle alluvial slope; sandy-gravelly soil, open wash woodland with Parkinsonia florida dominant, with Prosopis, Olneya, Condalia, etc.
Fruiting
Uncommon to scarce shrubs c. 1.5 m tall. Locally common on wash bank with Baccharis & Senegalia at UTM 11S 669445E, 3685227N, but overall scarce in local colonies.
