Habitat:
Creosote bush scrub on dry slopes and weakly developed wash scrub on canyon bottom. Four gravel filled bedrock tanks with standing water seen.

Notes:
Fairly common shrubs c. 1 m high, on edges of wash on canyon bottom both above and below the tanks; fls. light blue/purple.
