A large silty depression with Castela emoryi, Prosopis glandulosa, Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Hymenoclea salsola, Acacia greggii, Hoffmannseggia glauca, Kallstroemia californica, Pectis papposa, Chamaesyce micromeria, C. setiloba and hundreds of prickly poppies.
