Habitat:
Alluvial slopes; scrub dominated by Artemisia californica, with Lessingia filaginifolia, Ceanothus crassifolius, Gutierrezia californica, Navarretia, Filago gallica, F. californica, Stylocline gnaphaloides, Conyza, Centaurea melitensis, Rafinesquia californica, Tetradymia comosa, Lasthenia gracilis, etc. Site subsequently developed and vegetation destroyed.
