Habitat:
Rocky ridge in Mojave mixed woody scrub, with Eriogonum fasciculatum var foliolosum, E. elongatum, Malacothamnus fremontii, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Marah fabacea, Poa secunda; coarse volcanic sandy soil.

Notes:
Uncommon prostrate annual herb, soft-spreading-hairy, leaves pinnate, leaflets 4, obovate, axis flat. Flowers solitary in axils, sessile, calyx lobes 1.5 X tube, corolla yellow, wings ± = keel, fruit oblong, straight, 3 + mm wide.
